Loll well the width is definitely there; which is great!!!
The 35 depends on the tire maker, since the nt05 or r888 can still remain meaty vs others.
Now, I believe if I get my hands on some 18x9.5 +28 off set I can clear the rear with some mild modifications run ing some 275s.
We shall see!!! Hehe...

if you never had the opportunity to track your car, you will be surprise how well and what a difference bigger tires make.Originally Posted by evobros

i bet but arent they expensive for DD tires?!

Yea bigger tires are more expensive. But i also find they do last longer cause they have more thread so i think its worth shelling that extra money for a wider tire. Plus, more stability with a wider tire.
Volk TE37 18x10.5 +22- Hankook 265/35/18, no fender roll 275 or 285's going on soon with fender rollageÂ* O0
There worth the money. I rather spent a little extra and get a nice sticky tire; however now with all the different companies making great tires at a lower price it makes things even better.
Ex: nt05, stars and neova. Great dd tires

Yeah that's true but since I have X wheels I'm gonna try some 255 or 265 with a stiff side wall of course

Yea a 255 or 265 series tire is a good size for the stock EVO X rim. I dont think ive seen anybody run a 275 series tire on the stock rim.
Me either only 265s and they looks good..
