    Killer deals on Regular Maintenance 15K 30K 45K and 60K. Take care of your EVO

    We have been serving the Evo community for six years now and lately we have been seeing a slight trend. Most Evo owners are not properly maintaining their cars with regular service and checkups. I can't count how many times a car has come in running less than perfect and the root cause was lack of attention and maintenance to key areas such as vacuum lines, couplers, spark plugs, drive-train fluids and the list continues on and on......
    Now I know that the Mitsubishi Factory Service Manual has specified recommended service intervals, but when you start increasing horsepower and torque output by 60% or more you need to match that with an increased amount of maintenance overall.

    A good example is the EVO transfer case. While this unit is strong and dependable it is responsible for transmitting all the power from the engine to the rear wheels of the Evo. The transfer case only uses .8 of one quart of fluid to lubricate, cool and protect the ring, pinion and differential. It then makes sense that if you increase the power and torque to this unit by 60+%, added precautions and maintenance should be taken. The same goes for the rear differential which also only holds .8 of 1 quart.

    We have also noticed that less and less owners are following the mandatory 60K service which replaces the main timing and balancer belts among a plethora of you guessed it...inspections of critical engine and drive-train components. The 4G63 engine truly is an interference motor, which means that great engine damage can occur if the belt breaks, chips or severely stretches. I have seen an entire long-block assembly destroyed by a belt breaking at cruising speed/rpm on the highway.

    I am mentioning all of this to encourage Evo owners to take better care of your cars (washing them doesn't count lol). Some of you are very good at this and come straight here, home or another shop for drive-train, motor oil and brake bleeding services after track days. Others don't even track their cars but still do their maintenance religiously. These Evo's are the ones that have the lowest repair costs and resell for the most amount of money. The Evo is a special car and we all expect it to do GREAT things when we command it to, just remember it's a machine and will only serve you as well as you service it!

    In turn we have come up with some deeply discounted maintenance and inspection services for you guys who want to start getting the most out of your Evo now and in the long run.

    1 Serpentine accessory belt

    Additional parts to consider with this service are: Water pump, timing belt tensioner, timing belt idler pulley, timing belt adjuster pulley and balance belt adjuster pulley.

    3 Quarts Redline MT90 for transmission
    1 Quart Redline heavy shockproof for Transfer case
