    Thanks for the info! I'm kind of curious about the brakes too. Is equal parts of all of the stock brakes (i.e., pads, lines, fluid) that need addressing? I always thought that it was mostly the fluid. Also, for the pads: Aren't there some pads that are good for street/light track driving? I know the operating temperatures tend to make street pads versus track pads mutually exclusive.

    I want to track but I have no idea where to start, i.e. how to sign up for events, if I can just go to a random track on a random weekend, etc.

    Do you have a link or instructions on how a beginner would start tracking?

    extremespeedtrackevents.com :) you just need to have all the maintenance on the car up to date and a helmet and you should be good to go :D
