^ I'd be happy to try. I set up the insurance policies of a few guys on the forums, though it looks like I'm most competitive when the driver has a spotted record. But the most recent guy had a squeaky clean record and I bet his existing State Farm policy.
I remember there was a kid on the forums who was paying $1200 PER MONTH for insurance because he was so young and had a lot of speeding tickets, and I got him a quote for less than half (which is still a lot for people like you and me, but low for him due to his circumstances). But what was crazy was that he didn't take it, because his parents pay for his insurance (so he didn't really care that much), and they preferred to speak in their native tongue to their insurance agent, which apparently to them was worth paying an additional $7000+ annually just to speak in their own language for the two or three times you talk to your agent per year. Some people!
damn lmao 1200!! thats a down payment for a car or a monlthly payment for a house!!! that kid fukd up!!!!! lolOriginally Posted by DeeezNuuuts83
i have a quick question tho how much (estimate) for me age 19 driving for 3 years and 1 accident... for a evo x..
planning on pickin it up nov or dec droppin a large down payment =D
Well, it depends on other factors aside from age and stuff... i.e. location, coverages, Evo model, etc.
Are you broker?Originally Posted by DeeezNuuuts83

Yes and no... I manage an agency, so our involvement is a bit more hands-on than a broker, and we don't charge broker fees for personal insurance.
which companies do you guys offer?Originally Posted by DeeezNuuuts83

Here in California (we do insurance in almost 40 states), we are directly appointed with a lot of carriers such as Fidelity, Safeco (part of Liberty Mutual), Progressive, CSE, Bristol West (part of Farmers), Unitrin, GMAC, Viking, Dairyland, Hartford and a few other companies that escape me right now (but I can access the rates of other carriers for comparison purposes). So there are companies to handle preferred drivers and non-standard drivers (like you have DUIs or a lot of tickets). PM me if you have any other questions. You wouldn't happen to work for AAA, would you?Originally Posted by nicklulu

No. But I actually have them as my insurance.
i use to be with 21st century for 12 yrs then they start hiking up my premium since they got bought out (by all-state/statefarm)
I even told them im dropping my civic and 21st told me my premium will go up $300!!!!!
WTF?!
When i went with AAA (I shopped around), They save me $1,600 a year!

Yeah, I've noticed that AAA has pretty competitive rates if you've got a pretty clean record.
I called pretty much everyone (all-state, state-farm, wawanesa, progressive, gieco, 21st century) AAA is the cheapest, but i need to get the membership. thats fine. its still cheaper. then it got cheaper when i got my renters through them.
