    Autism Awareness Month.... PLEASE READ

April is Autism Awareness Month and I wanted to share with you guys a little information about Autism. No one in my family is diagnosed with it but it is important to be educated and aware. Today, it is estimated that one in every 110 children is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes and pediatric AIDS combined. If this comes across as a shock to you take 10 minutes and read a little bit about Autism. Educating is the first step to finding a cure.

My 5 year old is very mildly Autistic. Programs like C.A.R.D and the one Simon posted do wonders. If you arent aware and plan on having or have children, you should make yourself aware.
