UNDERCOVER CHP: BEWARE OF WHITE F-250

It was CHP. Not unless the uniforms look alike. I occifer was wearing a CHP uniform.

Khaki colored shirt and pants.

As I said before, it's a simple heads up. i am not doubting what you guys are saying what the law says.

I saw what I saw and just want to share it.

The point is be careful.

I just got to work right now. I think I passed 3-4 drivers on the shoulder with cops behind them from the 94 (Spring Valley) through the 805 (Sorrento Valley).

End of the month I guess.

I wouldnt Pull over

Last month i just exited the 91 W @ Knott ave. I saw a car pulled over buy a Blue UnMarked- and had regular plates on. Right when i saw that i told my GF who was sitting passenger - " Thats odd Who the F is this guy? If he were to pull me over i wouldnt stop" Just as i said that the car pulls up next to me. No cage no computers just a guy in a uniform. I gave him a nod then he lit me up! I refused to pull over and kept driving at the speed limit. He followed for 2 blocks until i made a right on La Palma - Then he turned off his lights and kept going straight.

I dont know what i would have done if he kept after me?? I was about to drive to La Palma Police Dept

I just got home.

805 South, between the 15S offramp and the I-94 exit.

I noticed an old maroon Mitsu or a Dodge stealth behind a white F-250 on the middle shoulder. I thought it was an accident and that's the reason why traffic was a bitch.

Then I noticed the bar lights going off inside the rear window of the F-250 and a CHP Uniform officer came out.

Guy got a ticket.

The F-250 has plane plates (not the exempt ones), un-marked.

end of the month, they are getting creative.

Be careful out there.

damn...well my buddy who is a cop said that technically u don't have to stop for an unmarked vehicle whether it's flashing blue or red lights up the ass. i have had friends that have the red and blue lights that flash and we have messed around and pulled cars over when we were younger in my friend's cts and sped off right after they pulled over.

don't stop unless it's a black and white marked vehicle or an all white chp. you are not stopping for your own protection. that's something they can't blame you for. they can always follow you with the lights on and wait for a black and white to join up and then u gotta pull over.

i would just drive to the nearest substation esp at night since its dark , daylight pretty easy to see a marked car .... but either way what thy tell you is if u suspec hes not a real cop/not in a marked vehicle drive to a nearest substation

that incident reminds me of that wacko that got busted for impersonating a cop recently

Well all police vehicles have to have at least 1 solid red light to make a car stop, thats why you see the CHP's with the red spot light.

as stated in this thread, never stop for any unmarked vehicles, do not drive crazy to get away either just do not stop, immediatley call 911 or your local police agency. you do not have to stopped for unmarked cars so for your safety i would advise against it. if they are legit they will get a black and white to stop you. also officers driving unmarked cars should not be in uniformed either

If you get pulled over not only can you request id but you can also request a marked vehicle be present.he also must be in full uniform. And yes they have white unmarked Ford's in there fleet

About a month ago i saw a guy pulled over by a Silver camaro ss. It was like the 2002 models. It was dirty, had rims im assuming, tint window with the lights. Scared me pretty well since i get a camaro to fly by once in a while.

My buddy who is a CHP officer saids to make sure the officer is in FULL uniform, if it's unmarked it usually should be a white crown vic. Plus they do not have quotas to meet so end of the month or not it doesn't matter. What matters is that depending on how many tickets they issue at their level they will most likely be promoted quicker then others :)
