I know where you guys are coming from, and that's why I am not arguing the point. We all know it can only handle so much, and I don't deny that I am right there at that point. You are correct though. I do all maintenance myself, ecu controlled boost w/ cuts, I monitor all vitals including A/F from a dash mounted Greddy Informeter Touch w/ alarms. If something goes out of whack, I will know. Not all Evo owners can say that. Most people want power at any cost, and that is where problems come in. Skimping on tuning, parts, and maintenance is not my thing.Originally Posted by jebus27
Can it still fail? Of course. But like I said, the chances are greatly reduced. She has 56k on the clock and I have had it for 2 1/2 years. I track the car, and daily drive it 60 miles a day. I will definitely keep you posted on how it goes.
