I know where you guys are coming from, and that's why I am not arguing the point. We all know it can only handle so much, and I don't deny that I am right there at that point. You are correct though. I do all maintenance myself, ecu controlled boost w/ cuts, I monitor all vitals including A/F from a dash mounted Greddy Informeter Touch w/ alarms. If something goes out of whack, I will know. Not all Evo owners can say that. Most people want power at any cost, and that is where problems come in. Skimping on tuning, parts, and maintenance is not my thing.

Can it still fail? Of course. But like I said, the chances are greatly reduced. She has 56k on the clock and I have had it for 2 1/2 years. I track the car, and daily drive it 60 miles a day. I will definitely keep you posted on how it goes.

UPDATE: 10,000 HARD miles later...STILL a champ. Injectors are clean, compression is great, and not a single issue to speak of.

i think the real point here is that you are running under 360wtq (since your numbers are inflated by church).

ive been running ~350wtq on my x for 85k miles.

if it were over that number, no maintenance in the world would have stopped those rings from failing.

My car takes 30psi on pump like its nothing. You can easily pick up 15whp and 30wtq.

    SOMETHING BROKE TODAY!

Clutch master cylinder popped at 430AM at the Norwalk E85 pump after filling up....not tune related, but I figured I would share haha.
