It was good to meet you. Please give my thanks to Gilbert. Super cool guy.

Glad to see you finally made it out there O0

95 degrees is nothing ...wait until its 110 in July
Last year was the year of OFFs. This year is all about breaking.

I hope to see you out there but I am NEVER doing June/July/August track days ever again unless I am paid. haha.

Re: RRE Supporting Track Days = More EVOs ON the track

I was there on Sunday spectating, and I can understand why people would get frustrated with 1: lack of track time, and 2: the heat!Â*
Glad you had fun minus all the crap.Â* The heat doesn't lengthen ones temper fuse that's for sure!

The wheel to wheel action was awesome though!Â* They packed the Honda Challenge, Spec Miata, Spec BMW, and Spec 944 all in one session, but spaced them out a bit; however, after one caution everyone started to get mixed up.Â* Kinda made me think of an ALMS race.Â* Very cool to watch. Very close racing.Â* This was my first NASA event I've ever been to.Â* Kinda happened by default because I was there to see the GTA action.

Funny stuff James and nice write up.Â* This is one of the many reasons why Mike is the man, and why his crew at RRE is the shiz.Â* Regarding your IC hose clamp/pipe issue, the more you do this the more youll see that your simple track event days fooled you.Â* Because eventually youll realize that this is all about perseverance.Â* Especially if you get into racing one day.Â* Having the right tools/parts/resources, and knowing how to fabricate on the fly is what is needed for the long term.Â* And thats where Mike and RRE come into play.Â*

As far as hot crowded events...they will test everyones patience. There are a couple great groups ive ran with in Socal that have been around, SV, NASA, SCCA, OTR, and they all have had their bad days.Â* SV is a combo of HPDE and TA.Â* OTR is all about HPDE.Â* NASA is for those who want to transition from HPDE to TT to racing.Â* And SCCA is mostly about racing.Â* I think if youre ready, it will be good for you to run with those groups also.

Don't forget ExtremeSpeed which is a combination Time Attack / HPDE event.

You should check our next event. It is June 2nd at Buttonwillow, and will be round 3 of the 2012 AWD competition series. Best 6 of 8 events will go toward the year end prize money.

All you got to do is fill out this form http://www.extremespeedtrackevents.com/images/pdf/extreme_awd_comp_form_v1.pdf , sign up for the track event, and have fun!

I wouldnt go that far. On a scale from 1-10, and 10 being cute. If give Matthew a strong 6.
The crew at RRE is always amazing. That's why they're still in business and have plenty of reputation behind them to over look any mistakes that have happened. As Milkshake said RRE FTW!
What are you talking about??? You can give Matt a strong 10...he reminds people of his Filipino blooded brother, driver, go kart champ, and Formula driver Marlon Stockinger!

I also know one of my old friends Elton Lo who mainly tuned Hondas in the olden days is running events though RacelineUSA.
He was the first person to try to get me to go on road courses and a super cool dude.
