Post what mods you did to the engine (cams, exhaust, reflash) with dyno results, and track experience.
I watched it fly at Laguna this weekend.
Cheers
Laguna Seca exceeded expectations, as we ran 3 consecutive days on track as a shakedown then our client drove it to our shop here in costa mesa sunday night following the event. Here are a few pics of our project, as well as pics of my youngest daughter shooting the corkscrew roller coaster style in her own crv after our team's champagne salute to my late father...thanks to all who made this event possible, including some new faces.

As far as track experience, my friend driving our evo all weekend had never been to Laguna Seca prior to Friday morning. We started the weekend at 20psi with me bedding in brakes and
turning 3 laps in first friday morning session, turning a best of 1:38.8. From there we worked session by session reviewing gopro video coaching our client up to speed, ending friday at 1:42.1
Saturday we continued to add layers to our program by running our traqmate, as he had built enough speed to make the data relevant. We left the boost alone until he was running consistent low 1:40s, then for the last session of the day we patted the boost knob for a best lap of 1:39.4
Sunday brought colder weather conditions and by the second session we are running consistent 1:38s, with a best of 1:38.1 and looked poised to run faster yet but a small mistake exiting turn 6 resulted in a pair of bent wheels. I hopped in the car to give a few family members rides and diagnose our damaged evo, running some !:39s in the point by passing group with the car driving poorly and vibrating pretty bad. At sessions end we replaced the rf wheel bearing and axle which repaired the vibration completely. We made the next session for our client and he worked back up to speed running consistent 1:38s with a best of 1:38.2 in final session of the weekend. This evo is streetable enough that at weekends end, our friend drove it back to our office with his family in the car, the compliance of our Ohlins based setups continues to amaze even the toughest critics.
More pics and videos to follow, see you all at MOD.
