So when you open the door and the hood and trunk the previous color is visible I'm assuming
I saw a couple of people asking the same question. I'll try to answer it at my best.Originally Posted by 400whp350wtq
Wrapping the door jams, trunk jam and engine bay.
I know wrapping the door jams are doable, we have done many. Trunk jam sure. If you're willing to pay for the huge extra amount of labor of removing 4 doors, the trunk and wrapping all the edges and the doors them selves. That's a 2 extra days of labor. Approx total wrap cost 3K.
Now wrapping inside the hood... Unless you can remove your motor and all accessories I'm not sure how to clean wrap all the engine bay walls so that when you open your hood is the same color as the outside wrap.
Most people just opt not to do the jams, first because it is just temporary and expensive. Second, doors remain closed at all times and when we open them is just for couple of seconds.
That's my best explanation and honest opinion regarding wrapping jams.
