You have to turn down your boost to the Negative side then you can use 87 octane.

Basically just the opposite of what you are boosting now. So if you are at 23psi just turn it down to -23psi. If you are on GM 3port you have to talk to your tuner about it though.


But once its set you'll be golden.

^^^^ What he said. I am actually surprised how good of MPGs I get with E85. I would go that route. Get a dual map tune and if you need to, carry a couple 5 gal. VP jugs with you depending on where the stations are in relation to you. E85 has dropped a lot in the last few weeks.

In any case, don't tune an EVO for 87. Seriously. You are saving under $5 per tank on that shit.
