    Last night...

I was driving to my gf's place and heard loud pop sound. I was about 5 minutes away from her place and it was around 11pm. The car was getting no boost at all, I figure it's either turbo or bov is shot or a boost leak. So had to drive it home slow as fuck with a flasher on, felt like I was driving a Geo Metro or something. As soon I arrived there, engine service light came on...I was thinking oh crap.

Then this morning I found this...

I put it back together and let it idle for 5 mins then test drove it, everything is fine, it's boosting ok. Engine service light is still on what could it be to cause this??

Not a big deal. Tighten up those clamps.

What would cause that? In a word, "Boost."

That's nothing to worry about. If it happens again you may need a higher quality clamp. The stile of clamp that you have in the picture an become weak if over tightened at some earlier point in time.

To get rid of your check engine light just disconnect your battery for about 10 minutes then reconnect it. Once you start the car again your check engine light should be gone.

Note: All mass air flow sensor metered cars run like dogs when they have a boost leak. The computer just trips balls on the fuel for safety and goes pig rich. Nothing to be scared of.

you should be fine. I have a code reader/puller if you want to clear the CEL without disconnecting anything.
