Hey everyone I finally save up and I have money to do E8 I just need your guys help on where to go my only days off are Saturday and Sunday
We have many great reputable shops/tuners on here such as RRE (road race engineering), tuning technologies, rick at Rallinspired, and my tuner naji at looney tuning. I'm sure they can all fit you in on the weekends, so hit them all up and discuss with them your goals for the car, than ultimately find the right tuner for you (everybody's different!) O0
p.s. don't go to reese tuning, he's a cunt. :D
Lol OK thanks O0
We tune in the evening here @ RRE. Scot does most the EVO 8s and 9s on Tuesday and Thursdays starting at 9pm. He has tuned over 1400 EVO 8/9s, been tuning on E-85 since the beginning of the E-85 revolution in 2005.
We figure most people need a day job to pay for all this stuff so we have flexible hours. Being the original and only EVO shop since before EVOs we are used to people driving from all over So Cal and not wanting to sit in traffic to be here by 6pm.
If you somehow have to work 18 hour shifts Rick from RalliInspired also uses our dyno and can probably book a weekend here for you.
Got your injectors, fuel pump and 3 port BCS all lined up?

Also, quite a few times, I have seen people bring in a car to RRE all excited with all their bolt ons but their car has issues like a bad clutch or maintenance issues. If you want to save yourself A TON of frustration, make sure your car is tip top BEFORE you go to get it tuned. This either means leaving your car (because of your work schedule), or planning a FULL day at RRE (i.e. all day AND all night).Originally Posted by evobros
So:
1. Make sure your car is running in mechanically solid condition
2. Make sure you have all your bolt ons.
3. Make an appointment.
If you do this, you will most likely leave very happy.
On a side note, I would consider getting 2-4 VP fuel jugs. I have only run out of E85 once in almost 6 months.
OK cool so far I already put a stage 2 clutch and did a tune up the only think I need good is change the oil in the transfer case that's the only think I need to change but I have road race down pipe and test pipe and Greddy exhaust and a aem intake i start work at 1pm to 10pm Monday Thur Friday I will get a VP fuel jug on ThursdayOriginally Posted by jamesinger

Oh and just an FYI. DO NOT buy the briggs and stratton 5 gallon jugs from home depot, I bought them because I couldn't find any 5 gallon vp jugs and the home depot ones leak like crazy when actually using them...

I really don't have any time during the week either so I contacted Rick at Rallinspired and had me tuned at Road Race this past Saturday. I bought the port from RRE and had it installed there.Originally Posted by evo10rev
