^It might have something to do with the fact you build cars like this:

Most shops like to make cars better than how they came in, not worse. But if people are STILL giving you money, I'm not going to tell you to turn it down. It's basically Darwinism but in car form.

    Palmer....

So what I can say is... You fucked up doing some bogus shit to a Evo.... MAYBE, MAYBE it wasn't you but it came out of Church. I knew about you guys for a Min.... Driven, and Race against a few Church Tuned Evos. Amazing cars nonetheless..... But what burned you from the beginning of time was the fact your Shop did a terrible job when first Introduced to the Evo Crowd as shown in the Post above me.

Yes I can agree with you about people needing to grow up and stop talking shit all day long like they haven't done anything shady or saying Slanderous Rumors BASED ON 1.....1 EVENT ^ No Pun intended.

Yes, I also agree with the fact if you don't got anything positive to contribute to the thread then you should get the fuck off it. End of Story.

In the world of tuning....... According to the Streets, Church is Well known as a Honda Specialist shop.... Why? Maybe cause word of mouth ONLY mentions the Honda side of things. Hell You've broken records or own championships yet not any person I know outside of Hondas can back that statement up. ya dig?

I'm not a hater, I was when I see that BS job in that other thread..... but as far as what you guys bring to the table..... there's some people who needs to chill the fuck out and go elsewhere....

"AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR DAT!"
NO! My name is NOT KENNY... It's RALPHY...... ALPHAKENNYBODY = I'll F*** ANYBODY. 5150 RACING

Mistakes have been made, fixes have been made, everyone who goes there is obviously happy to go there so just leave it at that. A shop that continually destroys its own reputation will be flushed out in no time as we've seen many times the past few years. Stop beating a dead horse. Numbers look good for what it is.. Good job on the tune Daniel.. To the OP, It should be one reliable ass turbo. Enjoy it.

Link me to that story and enlighten me... theres always more than just that... it easy to blame the tuner... especially when they are not there... There are alot of things that can go wrong outside of a tune that can cause failures. Evos by no strecth are reliable as delivered... i.e. Relays, vac lines, fuel pumps, cavitation, and even the spacer between the driver seat and steering wheel, etc... I know, i own one... So simply saying a perfect church tune blew up is some sort of slanderous agenda with no evidence or thought put to it, period... im just saying....

but anyways i hope i can leave the thread to that, not gonna turn this into a credentials war, etc... No need...
i just want us all to get along and stop talking shit, ill be seeing some of yall pretty soon :)

lastly its our policy if a customer has a problem to bring it back to us and well check it out and fix it if needed at our cost? Worse case, even if a motor blows and it turns out to be our fault or negligence well replace it at our cost... we realize that humans are not perfect and can make mistakes, yes even us... tell me what shop has a policy like that?

This outright attack on Church (or anyone for that matter) purely based on hear say and speculation is very disheartening. SoCal Evo is a sad state of affairs.

I had a friend who went to church's automtive for tunning last year and it wasn't a pleasent experience. This was a rsx that came in with a full ITB setup and church's failed to even get the car down the street after multiple tunes and not to mention they hacked up his engine harness to hell. He tried getting home but by the time he got down to the end of the street it would bog and die, and he had to hobble it back to the shop five times. After that he was finally able to get it back on the road cause they were closeing and it died on the freeway going home. He came back for another retune and they still failed to tune the car properly and this is a shop that is known in the honda community. After that he was trying to get his map from church and even then they failed to email it to him on several times and he had to go back to the shop to retrieve the map. As far as my friends experience I would never recomend this shop to anyone. He ended up going to another well known shop and they redid the tune from scratch and his car runs like butter now

I have been going to church for the past 11 years to tune all my cars with the exception of my evo.Â* Scott gray/road race tunes my evo.Â* I have used shaw church probably 10+ time through out my life and i have never had a problem with his tune.

I have been to a lot of dynos and shops and i dont believe anyone tunes more cars then Church does.Â* These guys have 2 dyno bays and are tunning cars all day everyday and they are always booked up.Â* They dont work on cars for the most part.Â* All they do is tune.Â* Â*Other shops rarelyÂ* have the dyno running.Â* I figure they must be good or else why the hell do they have so many cars to tune.

well the fact that you had RRE tune your evo after 231098479 tunes with your other cars at church makes me wonder why you didnt stick with church since he prolly knows you well and would hook it up on a tune from all that cred with him?? care to explain why evo went to RRE? something smells fishy here but nevertheless glad you took her to RRE and treated her right O0

I'm had turbo civics/integras and s2000's. All tuning was always done by church. I currently have my turbo s2000 tuned by him. And no i do not get any hook ups from him. I Been useing road race to tune my evo even since i bought it in 2006. I only went to them because of their great rep with tuning evos. I have never has any problems with either tuner or shop.

    hAHAH this thread is hilarious.

Well I'd never take anything to church. I went with my buddy in his civic to get it tuned, he was running on a Godspeed turbo and they blew up his exhaust manifold up. They said it was because of the poor quality exhaust manifold. Yet the guy at Churches is the one that recommended and told him to go with godspeed.

I'll try and get pictures of the damage later. It's hard to trust a shop that would recommend a godspeed turbo kit... just sayin..

Re: Debunking The Myth of the GTX3071R ATP Stock Location

thread hijack, but I have a hard time believing churchs tunes in excess of 1500 cars a year. That is just ridiculous, thats tuning more than 4 cars a day assuming they are open 7 days a week. Good luck with that.
RS STwhy? four doors, two seats, 23 psi of boost...

Re: Debunking The Myth of the GTX3071R ATP Stock Location

they are 2 dynos running all the time everyday except for sundays. They tune well over 4-5 cars a day everyday> I'm just a customer of or theres and every time i go there for tuning they are tuning 2 cars at a time all day and after my car is done more cars will come in. Like i said before i truely believe no one in this area comes close to tuning the amount of cars that they do.
