Anyone else thinking of getting rid of the Evo?

Im thinking of trading in for a 2013 Frontier Pro 4X. My Evo X has 33K miles. Not sure, but I don't love my car as much as I used to.


Anyone else?

I think everyone gets to this stage at one point. Only way you can justify the trade is if you *really* need a truck. Do you need more cargo capacity? Do you need to do more serious off-roading? Because you wont really be saving on fuel - the '13 4WD Frontier is 16City/18Hwy/21Cmb, whereas the '08 MR is 17/19/22.

Personally, I like to believe the saying "unless you're towing a race car, you don't need a truck"

People do get to that point, but most of them either end up regreting it or going back into an evo.

left my evo last year after having it since 2007 (two of them, first one totaled)...dont miss it at all...got a truck, and another "sports" car at the moment...

All of the evos I've owned have been daily drivers. We have a lexus es330 but we still drive my car 90% of the time. What other sports car can you fit five people comfortably and one of those people use a car seat?

I've had my X for a year and I'm just on the modding part right now so I'll keep it for a bit longer. I wish I had a 9 only because it was a 1 year production. That would have been my keeper for sure.

from what I see, people that DD an Evo grow tired of them. I can understand this, as the car isn't being used. IMO it's a horrible DD. I beat up on mine during HPDE and A-X. I can't find a better family/race car. I sold my first one...regretted it..found this one..Will never get rid of it. ever.
also, I see X owners ditching their cars far more often than VIII/IXs. I can understand that as well.

I think what you need is more power in your X. I don't DD my Evo so it's always fun when I drive it,but do what you think is best. If your asking the forums if you should get rid of your car there must be a part of you that knows you'll regret it.

U dont miss ur Evo because u didn't enjoy it. Ur car was all show. Just my .02. :)
