    p0401

    Popped this code twice this week.both times it came on when I was slowly pulling away from a light. Any help w where I should start looking

    Did that..bunch of threads with so many options..will get behind tb tomorrow n look at hoses..hope its easy fix. Car is still driving normal ...no power lost as some have said they are experiencing

    it is a relatively easy fix...problem is knowing what to feel for....you can't really see the egr valve...just feel around to see if you feel a "nipple" that's missing a hose...then find the hose and reconnect...

    Looked at few threads that had pics but were taken down Cuz old threads. I'll search all day tomorrow while at work

    If you look down around the throttle body area you should see the hose that has worked it's way off. It took me a while to figure out but it was pretty obvious after I found it. I can't believe how easy it slides on. Most hoses seem to like to meld to whatever they are connected to not this one.

    I was also instructed to get this hose back on because your car will run lean with it off. So I wouldn't be reaming it while it's off otherwise you may pay a bad price.

    this happened to me a while back..my egr hoses were still intact and it was a different hose to a sensor that popped off..massimo took care of it,they had to remove the strut bar to get better access

    Found issue.... hose off valve facing towards passenger side was off
