Here are the ways to add pictures and files to your posts.

The most common one is linking an image from an image library like imageshack or photobucket.

First, find the image you are linking. Then, get the URL of the image. You can do this by right clicking on the image (if the site allows hot-linking) and selecting the location. See below:



Once you get the URL saved in the cache, go to your thread and type "[img]" and "[/img]" next to each other. Put the cursor in between the IMG tags and paste. It should look like this:



That will put a copy of the pic you linked to the thread or post you make.


Another way to add an image is by copying the IMG link from an image library of yours like imageshack or photobucket. Usually the image link is already pre-formatted. All you have to do is copy and paste that in the post or thread and you're good to go. Below is what it looks currently from photobucket





The last way is by using the attachment option. You click on Manage Attachments, locate the image file you want to attach, and then hit Open. It will show up as an attached file below your post. See below.
