    Lightbulb Tune Help

    So when i got my car the tuning was obviously off.. The owner sold me it cheaper based on that.

    I got it street tuned yesterday and its running perfectly fine now


    I have injen UICP/LICP ; injen cold air intake, some sort of cams (possibly 272)
    catless turboback exhaust , dw200 fuel pump...

    what kind of numbers should i be putting down with these mods?

    tuner told me i should be at high 200s? isnt that low?

    200's low mean 200+ hp or 200+ tq. Evo has 270, maybe he told you something else. Evos are above 200 level

    call up Alfred at tuning technologies. also, get a walbro 255 fuel pump and a 3-port boost solenoid and tune. you should make 300.
    Usual bolt-ons, Walbro 255, Stock turbo, Stock Injectors, 3-port+tune=308WHP/308WTQ on california's 91 octane by Tuning Technologies

    if you were street tuned by some one that know there ass from a hot rock, they should have easily been able to give you a pic of virtual dyno, read out.

    A better question is why did you choose a tuner that you dont trust?

    my car was running terribly lean and he tuned a few people I knew. he seemed to be sharp and know his stuff. car runs great now I was just curious about the numbers

    he said the digital dyno sheet read around 313 whp, but that those sheets aren't accurate

    Well, that's one reason people pay a dyno. If tune feels ok, you can look for the 3 pulls for X amount of dollars and get more real measurement. Other trust what you see and enjoy your ride, which at the end all really matters.
