    Fp mhi tf06-18k

i have 3 of these in stock.

Very little is shared with the stock turbo this is a brand new design specifically for the EVO X.

The turbine wheel is a new TF06-07 mated to an all new billet 18KX3RC compressor wheel co-designed by Forced Performance. The compressor cover has also gotten the redesign treatment and features a 3" inlet and surge ports. The stock wastegate actuator has been ditched in favor of this new MHI high pressure 18PSI actuator. What does this mean for you? A stock frame turbocharger, designed by the best in the business, manufactured by the company that built your car, that's capable of stock like spool, and producing around 54LB a minute.

    price is $1699

Get it while you can, they are going fast!

Wait, so MHI got together with FP to make this thing? That's crazy.

^That's what I'm thinking. There has to be some other value or need for this thing to make MHI produce it.

I would assume you can run the stock engine internals with this turbo. I think E85 would still be in order for anything over 400hp. If you plan on going above 350tq. on KT Dyno you'll probably want to build the block.

Jon from 5150 loves tuning this turbo. He has numerous evos running 440-460ish whp on his mustang dyno with a stock block

Right, and he keeps the torque numbers around 370 ft. lb.

Let me explain something based on our experiences with aftermarket turbos, the Evo X and our dyno. Dynos are different, yes. But the limit of the fuel system of 1100cc or 1000cc injectors and DW65 or Walbro 255lph fuel pump results in power output of no more than 420 whp on the Dyno Dynamics dyno. So no you are not going to make 440 whp on the Dyno Dynamics dyno without a double pumper and/or larger injectors. Besides, I don't know if you would really need more than 400 whp on the Dyno Dynamics - its already a lot of fun and plenty fast - all on a stock motor. We have seen enough comparisons to confidently say that if you are making 400 whp on our dyno you WILL make at least 450 whp on a Dyno Jet.
