Help choosing exhaust. Hate the lawnmower sound/. Looking for quiet nice tone...

So I've been looking at all the exhaust systems and think I have narrowed it down to 3 possible systems. I'll be running a stage 2 setup with high flow cat.

And the wildcard since they're doing all my tuning. RRE Stealth Sideways....

What do you guys think? I'd prefer to have more of a tone to my exhaust than a rumble or loud. Quieter at highway speeds and lower speeds is a must.

What do you guys think between these 3 choices?

    Thanks!

You definitely can't go wrong with RRE.

Also, I personally like ETS. I've heard all 3 in person, and I ended up going with the V2 Regular.

You sound like you would like the ETS V2 Quiet. See if anybody has it near you, checking it out in person is best.

Voted for RRE. But also +1 to the ETS V2.

You could just have RRE modify your stock exhaust too... If you aren't planning on replacing the entire exhaust, that would be an option. They take the muffler off the car, open it up, cut out a section of the internal piping so the exhaust flow bypasses the stock spring/pressure operated flaps, and weld it back up.

Have you looked into the apexi RS? After hearing many exhaust systems personally at meets and other events, I made my own judgement that the apexi rs and rre stealth are the quietest for my taste. I went with the apexi rs, and even after adding a down pipe and high flow cat it's still sounds nice a quiet.

I tried a few exhausts and then settled with RRE. I have done a few write ups here and there but basically I have always lived in places where I cannot have a rowdy exhaust and I don't like unneeded negative cop attention. RRE custom makes each exhaust on each customer's car to their specifications of what they want. This makes it so your exhaust is exactly what you want. The RRE exhaust can be anything from as unstealth and shiny/super loud as you want it, to black and stocker than stock but properly 3" throughout...

A lot of people around like RRE - only draw back is their dual exhausts are heavier than stock.

I personally really like the Tomei Ti Expreme - free flowing, light weight, looks good and reasonably priced (compared to other Ti exhausts). I just moved to SoCal from the midwest 6 months ago. How picky are the cops about aftermarket exhausts around here? I've seen plenty of sports compacts with aftermarket exhausts here but everyone seems to make a big deal out of it. I drive like a grandma anyway.

Lastly, I'm having a hard time finding a shop that offers competitive prices on JDM parts (e.g. quotes I got from local shops for the Tomei Ti ranged from $1000-$1050 installed, MAPerformance from MN offered $899 shipped). Before moving here, I always thought this area was heaven for JDM parts (outside of Japan). Anyone here have connections?

I've decided after hearing a lot of cars and whatnot that I am going to go with the RRE stealth dual pipe sideways setup in black. Depending on loudness will depending if I run testpipe, high flow cat etc....

Excited to get my car down to RRE for full full stage 2 with ETS goodies, gauges and even rally armor flaps.
