I need an evo 8/9 block!!!

Alright fellas, I've never used a forum and this is my first thread.. ever. So I have no idea if I'm posting in the right place, so if I'm not please point me in the right direction. Now, for the important stuff. I just bought an evo 8 (my first evo yaaaaayuhhhh) and it needs a block. It was making 507 on e85 and shot a hole thru the block, the head is good. I just need to get a block, I don't care if it's a bare block with no internals or if it's got damaged internals or watevz, I just need a block in good condition cuz I'm gonna put in forged internals. I can't find a decent block anywhere so I'm posting here, if you can help me out I would really appreciate it! PM me if you have a block or know where I can get one, thanks!!

thats gonna be a tough one. ive been in your position. best of luck. your best bet is to try evolutionm.net and find someone willing to ship you a block. id make sure its a standard bore also and hopefully who ever you purchase it from will be honest with you. good luck

Also, the cheapest and quickest way would be to go to a junkyard and find an old eclipse with the 4g64 in it and harvest that bitch's block. Cheaper over all, and it would be a 2.4L evo.
