    Aem or prosport gauges

I need help on choosing between this 2 gauges im looking for the digital aem boost, afr, oil temp gauges but after i check lancershop and saw the prosprt brand i get confused. Can u guys help me out to decide which brand i should get but on prosport gauges i dont mind if its mechanical but aem i want digital so its easier to read and monitor. What do u guys think of aem digital boost gauge and prosport mechanical gauges. Besides prices difference. Thanks

I dont know about Prosport mechanical but I run an Electrical/Mechanical, it takes a boost reading from a Vac source but the gauge itself gets a signal electronically. I personally think the quality of prosport is not great. You cant go wrong with AEM

AEM is where it's at. Best quality.

I like my AEM digital boost and afr gauges. Easy to read and look really good with my Perrin Pods.

aem without question, you get what your pay for and when it comes to monitoring vitals you should not skimp on quality.
RS STwhy? four doors, two seats, 23 psi of boost...

Prosport gauges are decent for cute cheap Chinese gauges. For a show car/interior disco light show on a budget you cant beat them. But their wide band gauges are horribly inaccurate. I can log a dyno pull with the whole pull in the 11:1 range and work on smoothing +/- .5 afr bumps and wiggles in the graph until straight. And the whole time pretty much no matter what the dyno reads (all through out the 11s getting a base map dialed on on a custom tune for example) the Prosport just sits at 10.9 and does not move through the whole pull.

AEM is local, if you have a problem, you can just go there and say "what up with this?" if the dealer you got them from cant or wont help you. For Prosport what you gonna do, drive to China?

I think there are 4-5 local EVO specialist shops that sell EVO stuff. :-)

Im running the AEM UEGO a/f and digital oil press, along with prosport evo series boost. Boost gauge is accurate, havent had issues with it.

My aem digital afr recently burnt out... no clue how or why it failed, but it did. For wideband I personally recommend innovate products. They seem to be the most accurate and fast reading.
