On a side note I don't even think my oil temps get up to 180f when I drive unless its a really hot day, my oil temp gauge stays around 60-70C when cruising. I would have to do a bunch of wot pulls to get my temps up.

...also Lucas oil makes that Ethanol stabilizer available at RRE. I am not sure how good it works but I will soon, since my car sat for 3 months with a 1/2 tank of E85 and the Lucas oil E85 additive. Regardless, when RRE got the car running again, fresh E85 was put in regardless. Once I am driving the car regularly again, I can tell you how effective it is but the added insurance helps in any case.

Store it filled up to the top! And you'll be fine.

Treat ethanol the same way you would any type of alcohol.

It had a low boiling point which means ethanol doesn't need much energy for it to turn into a vapor "evaporate" so keep it in as cool of a place as you can

it absorbs/mixes with water "think vodka- like if it is 40% alcohol what do you think the other 60% of the liquid in the bottle is?"

So just store it in you gas tank filled to the opening of the gas tank whole and close it- so air from the air we breath won't mix into it and lower the alcohol percentage and keep it in a cool garage so it won't turn into a "gas phase" from it's "liquid" phase which would be a lose in product.

Ethanol "drinking alcohol" can be stored forever and not break down as long as it's stored properly "think vintage bottle of alcohol" ^_^ well hope that helps.

You our can also look up a chemical data sheet for ethanol which will tell you all of this chemicals perameters, this should help give you an idea of what are the best conditions for this chemical :-)
