Hey SoCal'ers,
Does anyone have any experience with speeding camera tickets? I think I got one the other day on Norwalk blvd around a little north of South St...I wasn't racing or going all that fast but some flash went off on a local street...not an intersection. I've never seen that before, anyone have any thoughts on if I have a ticket coming my way??

was this in cerritos? i know of a red light camera just before the mall. not sure where this camera you speak of is at.

Macky, this one was not in Cerritos...I think you may be referring to the one on South/Gridley. I see that one go off all the time hahaha
sometimes it does go off but i think they're out of commission so don't worry about any tickets. happened to me a couple of times this past year and i never received any tickets.

That's true. the one off gridley flashed on me too when I crossed on a green light. never got anything in the mail.
I recall reading about that as well. most if not all have been deactivated because the company that runs them rakes more profits and doesnt really give anything back to the city. the only ones I know that are still active are the ones in garden grove.

I've seen those electric speed signs that tell u to "slow down" when ur speeding with cameras and flashes.
Pictures on all for sale/for trade threads is being enforced!
I've also seen some electrical signs that indicate your speed and tell you to slow down and flash at you to get your attention but they don't send tickets for those or anything.
