Smile Does MIVEC help at all with tuning?

I will be tuned in October at RRE by Rick on my X and I was starting to think a little bit more about it, being that I am only familiar with 4g63 and do not know my X as well as I thought. Does MIVEC help at all with tuning? If so then how so? haha have to learn somehow right...

    Much apreciation in advance

The EVO 9 4G63 has MIVEC on the intake cam and it helps make more power on that motor. The EVO X 4B11 has MIVEC on both the intake and exhaust cams and it helps make more power too. The factory has it adjusted to bump up the mid range power on a stock car. Tuners use it to bump up power everywhere as possible to work with the mod combination you have.

Mike thank you! Much appreciation. I have been emailing with you back and fourth on the Sales email today about the parts for my base tune. See you soon man!

Another question off the MIVEC topic: How is E85 at a cold start in the snow in cold ass weather? Should I just run 91 going to Bear in the winter or can my X on e85 be in the snow for a couple days? Don't want to mess shit up.

I have no personal experience with snow and E-85. That shit looks all soft and fluffy in pics but is is cold as hell and hard mostly. I dont like it at all. Nope, dont like snow.

It dropped down to 59 degrees last night. I almost had to put long pants on. That was cold enough.
