Thread: need help w P0181 code.

    need help w P0181 code.

    Hey guys I was wondering if anybody can help figure out y I keep getting this code on my evo 9. P0181 fuel temp sensor circuit range/performance. After clearing d code, I noticed that it only comes on wen I do a WOT pull in 3rd gear or mayb 4th. Anyways lmk if anybody has experienced or know what the problem might be. Thank u

    Is the car tuned? Speed density conversion? Tephra mods? Hacked wires anywhere? Been digging into the fuel pump area lately? all stock original owner? 3rd or 4th owner of a modded and back to stock 6 times dirty slut?

    Tuned by bbr. The latest tephra mod. Stock map.
    2nd owner. The car drove fine for over a year untillast week.

    Run it by Beau then (assuming that you have not been chewing on your fuel pump wiring and connectors, wouldn't hurt to at least check them however) There are some options in the various ROM hacks, patches and versions that can use that signal for other stuff.

    Il check w beau n double check all d connectors. But is it still safe to do hard pulls? Car still feels d same exept that d check engine light is on. Thanks mike.

    Looks like I found the right part.
    Temp Sensor - Mitsubishi (MN120016)
    Wish there was an access hole for the temp sensor....
