got my letter today... says they will change the clutch fluid and brake fluid... so for those like me that still have a stock clutch and cmc... I'd say it might be worth the fluid change... just my opinion...

... and for those of us who are in the middle, with RBF600 in the system, it's just gotten more than just inconvenient. Sigh...

Got my letter as well, if it's just a stronger glue is it even worth it? I wonder how much the metal one will cost to install, if I go to the dealer for this recall they will see my tune and other mods -_- lol

I remember reading somewhere that the dealer will be taking pics of your front brakes as well. afaik, this is to show the condition of your brake calipers before they perform the work, since there is a possibility of fluid spilling on them thus damaging them (or possibly them damaging the calipers in the process) . and they do not want people who already have exiting caliper damage to try and get warranty work done for that.

I asked Sam Smash if Mods were an issue and she said "no." He said that the stock CMC needs to get replaced regardless of mods. I haven't gotten my letter yet -__-'

    I don't think you'll get one since you have a 2013...

I will. I was reading around different EVO forums people saying the clutch engagement is lower now but smoother? Can anyone chime in on this?

Idk, we'll see. I bought mine in March of 2013. Which means it was built inside that time frame.

    thats correct.

the recall will be done regardless of mods on the car. Mitsubishi cant refuse to do it on your car just because it has modifications.

But they can and will void your warranty for other parts if you do decide to take it in.

This is what I was scared of, my mitsubishi one ends in July but I purchased one of those extended ones and don't want that to get voided....

What else? wait... WRX Wagon !!!
True, but the question is how strong is this glue does? or we just upgrade to the metal CMC and fix it once for all???

I know this recall is good for those stays in stock, But what if people go over 380wtq or planning to go beyond the limits?

Better options? or this new upgrades can hold?
