Exclamation HVAC Broken - Particularly A/C temp control knob!

Hey guys! So I'm hoping this is the right place to post this ... I recently replaced the cable for the temp control/knob because it had broken quite awhile ago. However, it was still tough to toggle back & forth from hot to cold. I assumed maybe since the cable was new it needed to be worn in a bit and that eventually it would not be so tight. Not the case unfortunately. It ended up staying tight and snapped the white plastic piece that the knob connects to behind the dash. I looked online and to replace the whole thing would be around $300!!! Now I haven't opened it up to see if maybe something smaller can be replaced yet, but I don't think so. I'm pretty sure the whole thing needs to be replaced so I was hoping that someone here on SCE might have an extra one lying around or know where I can purchase this for cheaper. Please let me know - thank you & God Bless! Here is a link to what I need, minus the plastic dash piece of course: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MITSUBISHI-L...471411&vxp=mtr

Ok, so I found a cheaper one on eBay just now for about $150 .... Is this a decent price?

Mine broke awhile ago, I'm a cheap ass so all I do is reach up under the dash on the driver side. And along the center console area is a lever with a wire (flashlight and crawl under and you will see. Wire will most likely be bent) and lift the lever. Heat blows hot and ac is cold
