Ford C Max Energi

There was only one item that me and the wife picked up during Black Friday, her new Ford C Max Energi.

She had a 2005 Scion XB, but my sister's Civic Hybrid died last August. The tranny gave. She donated her car and we donated my wife's XB to her whish we were going to give to her daugther next year when she starts driving.

Anywho, we got $6,500 up front rebate and $5,507 federal and states rebates lined up (states in 2 weeks and federal during tax season)

This car compensates the carbon footprint of my X!

fuel eco is est 108 MPGe and its a plug-in. Total of 188 HP

What let me to post this was the darn thing has the feature called my ford mobile that works like the viper/compustar systems that will lock/unlock/start monitor your fuel eco/electric alarm GPS locator set timer for starting and everything!!!!

wow, the car is fully loaded with all the bells and whistle except the parking assist.

after all the rebates the $34K car ended up to be $22K. we also picked up the ford extended maintenance and warranty for 7yrs/125k miles, I dont need to buy nothing except tires till then. they even cover the windshield wipers.

108 MPGe, yup. As long as I plug it in, the 1st 21 miles is all electric, no gas usage.

After the 1st 21 miles then it goes to hybrid mode.

As long as you get a warranty, rock the fuck outta that thing!

That's my only issue with hybrids... They have 2 separate drivetrains... more to go wrong and such. But with the badass warranties car companies are offering these days, I'm starting to have less of an excuse.

I got the Ford ext. maint/warranty, 7yrs/125k miles.

battery is 10yrs.

I was thinking the same way.

The wife originally wanted a Prius V. when we went to the dealership to take a look at one, there was a $2500 mark up due to the limited supply.

I was "I don't think so". Prius V only has 95 PMGe and 134 HP.

The C Max is a direct competition of the V.

I think we went with a better car.
