This is the splitter I used on my car for the latter half of 2013 when I ran my Evo in NASA TT1 (the class formerly known as TTU). It is designed to be as light as possible while also being stiff enough to be effective.
When I built this, no one was making a bolt-on splitter solution for an Evo 8/9, not anything with enough splitter surface for serious downforce and built to the limits of SCCA SM and NASA rules anyway, so I decided to do it myself.
The mounting brackets, hardware, adjustable support turnbuckles, air dam, and shape of the splitter are all my DIY creations; the construction of the CF splitter itself, I got help from Brooks Motorsport Composites (hence the decals).
The splitter blade is shaped to extend 6" from the leading edge of the bumper cover, making it legal for SCCA Street Modified (SM) class autocross as well as NASA TT track racing. Overall dimensions are 71" x 28 3/8". The thickness of the CF splitter is 4mm. All together, with all mounting hardware, it weighs about 14 pounds.

As you can imagine, there is a ton of time and effort invested in this setup. The majority of the cost is of course in the carbon fiber cloth and UV-resistant epoxy required for making the splitter itself.
Overall the splitter is in very good shape. It has scraped the track surface a couple times on the outside edges, so I will cover those areas with thin (1mm) plates of stainless steel to increase the durability of the splitter for you... adds a little weight, but better than burning through the CF material unnecessarily.
The ABS plastic air dam is configured to match the Cwest bumper cover on my car, so you will need to adjust the brackets or drill a few new mounting holes to make the splitter match the contours of a Evo 8 or Evo 9 bumper cover. But otherwise, the splitter will bolt up to your car with minimal fuss—the four mounting brackets I made utilize existing mounting points on the front of the car.
NOTE: This part was designed for racing use. The splitter extends too far forward to be able to drive around town and get in and out parking lots with it attached. It is unlikely to survive more than a week of street driving, even if you set at the highest setting and are extremely careful about where you go. But if you buy it, it's your choice what you choose to do with it of course. :)

Custom fiberglass/aluminum brake cooling inlet ducts for Cwest bumper cover - $80 shipped. 2 1/2" outlets for 2 1/2" ID high-temp silicone hose (not included, available at HRPworld.com, pegagusautoracing.com, etc). Utilizes the metal tabs formed into the fiberglass of the Cwest bumper cover for attachment; however, as these bumper covers are likely handmade, it's possible the slots I used won't line up on your Cwest bumper cover and you'll have to adapt them a little or cut new slots.
Can also be adapted for use on virtually any car (just ziptie the front plates to the mesh of your bumper cover opening).

If you're not aware, KW is a German company that makes very good coilovers. Their springs are equal in quality to Eibach, H&R, or Swift.
