    ets licp a good choice?

Well this summer thinking of upgrading some parts for my evo 8 mr. First starting with simple bolt on's. Licp, downpipe, and a test pipe is what I'm thinking for this summer. I've already have a greeddy cat back exhaust and intake. So bang for the buck ets a good choice?

Ets is one of the best out there. You can't go wrong with any of there parts. I had full icp, short route and stock route and never hade any problems. I hands down would get ets and I'm going to when I'm getting my next Evo.

Just make sure it's secured really nice and tight. I've blown mine off a few times until I got RRE heavy duty clamps. Or you can get t-clamps.

Yeah I tripled checked everything before putting the bumper back on, didn't want to take it off again

Have one and love it. Gained some power and notice it holds boost better.

I personally have the nisei licp it has the extra bracket the can be bolted on just like the stock licp, so you don't have to worry about it blowing off and possibly dragging. But the ETS is definitely a great piece as well!

Ya the nisei icp are nice but that's not gonna stop the licp from blowing off. If it wants to pop off, then it will. I had both, an both are great but I would choose ets again any day.

A boost controller and tune should be on that list too. That's was the best bang/buck for me.

How much does the pipe weigh. My friend gave me a licp cause of some money he owed me and I think it's ets. Feels kind of heavy though and read some where it should only way 3.5lbs. And is it a common issue for the pipe yo pop off. He gave me just the pipe soIwould need to order couplers and clamps. Are the ets clamps sufficient enough or will they pop off

Ya it's a common problem of them poping off. But buy t-bolt clamps and you won't go threw that issue. I had ets full icp and love them and only used t-bolt clamp and never had them pop off when tighten properly.
