    We did a mobile dyno day for a BMW dealer back 5 or so years ago. I was talking to one of the salesmen about "So how are BMW owners?" He was all "fuck fuck fuckity fuck the fucken cheap fuckers! If they had any money they would have bought a Mercedes" Seems they reach a bit above their level and spend all their chump change on the car and dont have anything left to maintain it or upgrade it. Kind of like everyone I guess.

    I would honestly say sell the car because owning an evo isn't really cheap in general. Especially since its pretty much a 10-12 year old car.

    Other guys get passed on rowdy 550 whp setups. One guy that didnt notice something two years ago on your car may flag you for the same setup this time around. Crooked smog guys, the more they let pass the more they need to fail to keep their pass/fail ratio legit. A total tree hugging legit smog guy may not know anything about EVOs and pass you inadvertently with some minor mods. It is a total crap shoot out there.
