I were long time ago changing things because noises.. wine noise usually is caused by Transfercase. Noise in the wheel hub is like droning. Axles need to be lubed with, do you know if the axles were properly lubed?

Any different at different speed? Any difference in the noise turning right or left?

Make sure the axles are full locked in, if anything, disassemble and remount them.

Honestly, with these noises, I usually will take the car to a shop.

But yeah, do as he said and make sure the splines are fully in. If you aren't lazy and want to be thorough, you could pull them apart to make sure there's no damage to the splines.

A video of the noise might help.

With the coil over swap at the same time, and especially with the rubber smell, maybe the tire is rubbing on the spring or lower adjuster. Anything from the axle swap would be grinding/rattling/knocking noises. If the aggressive sized wheel/tire combination along with the adjuster being too far down makes the tire rub, that is your problem. Easy enough to spot. Take the wheel off and look for tire all over your new clean coil overs.

To fix it, maybe some combination of flipping the shock to knuckle adjuster over for more space between the tire and shock and then compensate for the camber back with the upper bearing plate adjustment Or spacers.
