How to be a T00ner in one easy step: Btack Edition

This is honestly sickening that a person is thriving off the intellectual ability of A REAL TUNER in our community. I hope this opens a lot of people eyes to the true identity of "Btack", what type of man he really is, and how little he knows about your car with these tunes he is selling you. YOU ARE A THIEF! Plain and simple. There is no debates here, only proof.

I don't care if you are happy with your btack tune or you love this guy to death personally, you should tell all your friends in the community what is doing and why they should stay away from him. We are a community and we should all come together and exile this person from ours, I don't know about you guys but it seems its hard to find integrity in the modified car culture and this is one example why, I've never met a single car enthusiast that doesn't hate thief's. So i ask everyone, why should anyone condone or support this snake?

Recently i was sent a map from someone Tuned by Btack.
I quickly realized whose map it was and decided to compare a few things
Opened his old map (mine) and the maps i made for Btack when i tuned his car .......

AND WTF DO YOU KNOW I found that the map is a DIRECT copy of most of my work from the original tune and Btacks tune I did put together.

I have taken the liberty of comparing all the relevant maps that make a difference and put them in this spreadsheet to show everyone...... let's start out with what's EXACTLY the SAME (the pics are of the differences in the maps)

• Ignition timing
• Maf scaling (Critical for all fueling )
• 3x Map tables (also critical for all fueling)
• Intake Mivec

And for whats basically identical

• WGDC (both pump and e85) Look at the pic, clearly copy paste
• boost targets
• Exhaust mivec

And what is slightly different

• fuel map , used to change AFR to his liking.


This BASE rom that was on this car was LOAD based mine was PSI, however the AP map i did for Btack was load and i compared that. There are more tables that are the same but don't matter that much
Its CLEAR that this is a blatant Copy and paste of my maps into the "TUNES" he is selling. This is not the FIRST time I've found this either. He even copied one of the the AXIS that I change number for number (that i have yet to see anyone else change but me) and has COPIED the ID's I leave in spots in the maps that ID it as mine........

In short this kid is a THEIF.

I read all this shit on FB and other forum... I concluded this is all about Cali tuners wars 2.0. Btack answered this was a re-tune from Jon's not happy customer, that's why the maps are similar. At this point it's a someone says something and other answer back and all shit back and forth.

Btack may learned a few things (or a lot) from Jon and Jon should learned something from someone else. Everyone is free to pick his tuner or "copy and paste" tuner. If Btack copy Jon's tune, I don't think he is going to do it again.. unless he wants to loose customers

I don't know of a tuner that just alters another ones tune for a "retune". If i got tuned at Tuning technologies, and wasnt happy and went to Rick / Mike @ RRE to get another tune, they would start the process from the beginning not do minor tweaks on the other one. btack has been doing this since he started his "Business" of tuning, the sad fact is he has not lost any business because people simply just dont care it seems...

His explanation has yet to come out on why the map is exactly the same and he probably will NEVER answer. He was simply stating he does retunes for cars that have been tuned at 5150 racing. I dont intent for this post to turn into some huge drama tuner war but i also hope people in the community care about a thief hiding in plain sight.

I would only go get tuned by someone that has a great reputation, like tunning tech, kt motoring, RRE, and even Nani aka looney tune. This guy is just fucking him self in the long run, and everyone that is going to him and don't care then guess what, we'll see your Evo in the side of the road smoking an dumping oil all over cuz it end up blowing.

The other issue is that, No one cares and that's all these kids an retardes that don't know how to mod a car or know anything about cars. Now that evos have fallen to a price range where any punk can get one. they are all trading there ricer civic for one and thinking they are top dog. Now a days everyone wants to low ball and expect they can pay nothing for good quality parts. If you want an expensive car witch every mod is expensive then step up an pay for it and stop being a cheap bastard. If you want to mod your Evo and can't afford it then get a better job or save up until you can pay for it. They are not true car/ evo enthusiast, they just want to say they have a 400+ whp evo and show it off and look cool. So sad that people don't want to read an learn how to mod the car they have. This is the biggest problem in our community an I'm sure in others and that's the people That are supporting bad tuner.
