    Check your coilovers

Bought this car used, don't believe I hit anything hard enough to crack my suspension but yeah..
Looks like it was broken for awhile from the look of new metal where it recently split and rusted metal. JIC inverted coilovers as well so not cheap ebay crap.

Replace just with some Megans, don't track the car or anything so just want something that handles nice.

Maybe get KWs? Lifetime warranty. Probably would cover it due to rust, but not sure.

I had the same exact failure on my JIC FLTA2's, I had hit a speedbump at an angle a little quick one time but didn't think much of it and the car drove fine for quite some time. Finally on a canyon run, the crack propagated up in the same fashion as yours and the angle my wheel was at at the top of the run was quite ridiculous, I was lucky it didn't completely shear off. I think this has to be somewhat a design flaw on the part of JIC's, they just aren't built that well. I never inquired about replacing the shock, they never had a very good ride, even with the swift springs I had put on them.
