How hard is it to paint a used rear bumper flawlessly, with no orange peel, and without runs in the paint? I know a guy who paid $350 to have a used Evo bumper painted a different color (blue to white) and it still has hints of previous paint showing, as well as a run on the bottom lower of one of the sides... The painter redid it twice and it still looks like crap IMO. I guess the painter said he'd been painting for 15 years or something. What gives? Is that standard, like it's really hard to paint a plastic bumper perfectly, or did the painter just totally suck and this guy got ripped off?
