323 GTX on BAT http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1988-mazda-323-gtx-2/
has some nasty rust in one spot underneath but if that's it, shouldn't be too big a deal.
My friend had one of these back in the day. I know it was AWD (because of the AWD sticker) but I was like 14, so I do not remember if it was turbo. Because I was a dumb ass little kid, I thought the car was lame and always wanted to ride in my other friend's '64 Dart. He got a DA GS-R and gave it to his sister. She drove it forever. I never knew anything about how cool these were back then though. damn. Mike W knows a thing or two about these cars.

They seem really cool, and crazy rare. There is an old guy down in Mission Viejo that has a super clean one. That's the only one i've seen in OC within the last few years. Wouldn't surprise me if he's the original owner, still has the period correct license plates on it.
I've always wanted one. I was halfway thinking of Mike/RRE when i posted this. I do recall hearing about RRE being an authority on these and having some significant history with them. I sort of remember reading something in SCC like 10-15 years ago, i want to say it was one of their project cars, and they were consulting RRE.
Speaking of rare, '93 500E in LA http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst...929920235.html

There are all these cars I did not understand the amazingness of in high school before I got a license. My first girlfriend had a B3 Alpina. I have no idea how or where she got it. She was a super rich kid.
Her dad must've gotten it thought European Delivery or on the grey market because it was definitely legit.
My second girlfriend in high school had an S12 V6 Turbo?? It was the car I learned how to drive with.
It was lowered and had wheels like this on it but they were not hubcaps but turbo fin like wheels.
Her dad had it first and there was an SCCA sticker on the rear window.
After we broke up and I got in to cars, I got all excited to run in to her randomly but she got super pissed at me for just asking questions about her S12...lol.
...at that point, I was a total car guy, haha.
how about this one too

Not on cl but uts for sale
Crazy. Back in HS there was a girl with an e36 m3 (circa '99) and i was amazed that she had that. The B3 trumps that easily but i probably wouldn't have appreciated it as much back then.
8) Sweet. Already at 30k w/ 4 days left. I wonder how high it's going to go? Those don't come around too often in that condition.
I was too late, post got deleted. What was it?
Love those! I wonder how high that one is gonna go. That one looks awesome.
another M3 this one is bit crazy just the price alone is crazy.

Price is crazy but doesn't surprise me much...out of 500 produced how many in the States i wonder? Probably no more than 5 or 10, if that. Someone has quite the e30 collection going there.
He must need some cash to let that one go. :)I bet its still on there in week or so
