For ppl who runs on crappy road everyday, how is your car doing?

I recently ran on very crappy/bumpy road to avoid ridiculous traffic on 60 west bound and I felt like I might have made bad decisions...
To give you an idea, the road I am talking about is Washington Blvd from 710 to DTLA section.
The road is full of pot holes, road cracks, road patches.
After running on that road for a couple days,
I could hear my right front side doing very subtle popping sound at very low rolling speed.
After doing some research, I think I either fucked up my strut top hat or the sub-frame bolt is loosing cuz of the vibration of the car.

But I can't believe it was this easy to fuck it up... I only ran on that road 2-3 times. I am running with swift spec r on KYBs.

My question is, for anyone who runs on crappy road everyday, do you routinely check anything? do you tighten anything every month? How long did your suspension last for you?

I drive through there often your best bet is drive around the pot holes I don't think any suspension could hold up to la roads

Just go around potholes, no need to drive too fast on the street anyway...

I blew my oem rear passenger side bilstein down washington almost alameda, nasty pothole, got home inspected the suspension and saw the rear bilstein dripping oil, i dunno you might want to check to see if you didnt blow a shock absorber, wheel balancing perhaps might help ?!!

    Thanks man.
I already took off the wheel and inspected everything for 3 times. No leaks, bolts are tight.
Still couldn't figure out why it developed subtle knocking sound..
I think I will just live with it until it blows.

But my point is.. I cant believe suspension components can be easily messed up.

the noise might be coming from a loose top hat bolt. The one in the middle, have you tried tightening that? Is it a clunk sound or spring binding noise?

I think it is more of spring binding noise.
Like it is not seated properly.
But I already tighten the top hat bolt.. I am doing it again right now see if it helps...

When you get your alignment at Massimo, ask them about this.

Hey, guys, I think I might found what is causing the subtle sound.
I found this bolt on under panel tray when I was doing oil change today.

I think this is probably jumping on the panel and making slight knocking sound whenever the car is running at low rpm and low speed( low rpm seems to vibrate the whole car more )

I personally don't think this belong to my car, but it is always safe to check with you guys.

Have you guys seen any bolts like this in engine bay? I haven't never seen anything like this on our car.

we should all set our cars up how they should be—for RALLY!! Then the LA roads will be like a stage. Fuck it.
