The people that want something different, bigger, better... like what? I mean, for them having a giant meet there once a year with 3,000 people, free food, vendor alley, prizes, dyno contest, entertainment, car show... for them that is different. But for the people that go to hang out meets and car shows and raffles all the time all year, you being bored isnt their fault so much.
What different do you want? You have some time to get some ideas going if you speak up now instead of belly aching laters.

I agree! it's cool to see all the familiar faces and all the gay boyz from socalevo. But there is one thing......
I just wish we all didnt have to wait in line at 2am in the morning just to get a decent parking spot. Last year i didnt sleep at all and i was not a happy camper until i had some Starbucks. Then on the way back home i was almost falling asleep. Mod is a cool gathering because of the people the cars and vendors but without sleep i will for sure cut some people!
We should have a sleeping party that starts at 10:00am the day of mod, whoever can sleep the longest wins an award
I dont know, maybe start a poll and ask them what they want different? I've been to maybe a handful of meets since MOD 14, so a big meet like this is a big deal for me.
I just stated a fact that its been 10 years since they started MOD. MAYBE they might do something different.

maybe something that worth is to print like the old pics that Mike has about previous MODs and shown them in the boot. It's not like an activity, but I offer my self to print like 10 tabloids if you email me the photos.
BBQ after mod is kind of difficult due the line time that we start waiting for a good parking. Maybe what Trezyian suggest about camping party is the best option for not die in sleep the morning.
previous years there were mentioned activities like change tire contest or other kind of activities, but sponsors need to coordinate it, which it's not easy, because they participate in the raffle..
any way, there is always a chance to do something cool. For me it's the best time of the year because I focus to meet people and make new friends.
I have that weekend off so I will be there!!!! Couldn't go last year because it was the same weekend as my son's baptism, but I always try to make it out there.

Currently we are working with Hankook to possibly provide a set of tires for the top HP winner in the dyno contest. Also we are working with a few other of our partners for more other appropriate prizes for the other guys that run.
We have time to realistically run 5 to 7 cars during the day before they announce the winners. We'll always try to save space for a DSM or two, a clean GVR4 or big power 3KGT or nice Starion. 600+ whp EVO 8/9s are a dime a dozen so the bar is higher for them. We want the dyno contest to be entertaining. Lower HP cars need to have more entertainment value. But anything going on should be loud and ideally have the capability of making 700+ If we have more serious contenders we'll have to start earlier than the 9am official start time.

Last Year was our first MOD. We attended because I was in SoCal for training. I was a blast! We'll be driving down from Washington in our Evo this year!
