    Thunk

I'm looking for a suspension place to take my wife's '10 X. She texted me and said there was a random thunking noise. So I get home and drive it around the block and sure enough, anytime I hit a bump, there is a hard thunk coming from the rear driver's side. I jacked up that corner and crawled under, yanking on anything in the suspension to see if I could find anything loose or bad, but I nothing looked or felt bad. The rear suspension is completely stock. Any thoughts on what it could be or where I can take it in the San Diego area to get looked at? Thanks for the help!

I've come across a couple X's that have loose bolts in the rear suspension (even in very new cars). There are a series of 12mm bolts that attach a few metal braces around the differential. I'd start there. Also check the rear swaybar brackets. These bolts are prone to coming loose.
Also possible a small rock made its way into one of the rear springs...
    Hope this helps!
