    Current Lightweight wheels

I noticed a bunch of rpf1s up for sale in the classified sect. Is it not a performance thing and the look is just played out? I know they're not the strongest either. Are people upgrading to forged wheels or are there some new options for the budget lightweight wheel?

When you say you know they're not the strongest, what have you seen/heard? Anything you can link to? Just curious about the details on that.

I've heard a few people mention that they've seen them too much. Still a great looking wheel, but i'd have to agree that i've been seeing them everywhere i turn for the last several years.

Enkies have always been everywhere because they are probably one of the cheapest yet best aftermarket wheel out there.

They are strong and look great and sooo many people run them at the track, there is a reason they are everywere cause they are awesome.

    - I've had 2 sets of RPF1's :D

Again, as others have said, I think the reason you're seeing a lot of them is because they're a great and affordable wheel. Not everyone is baller enough to buy Volk's right from the get go. I know I wasn't... I had to wait and save.

Just compared to forged. I think they're a great set of wheels. It just seems like the rpf1 has been the leader in lightweight budget wheels for a really long time. Wondering if there are alternatives now.

^^It just depends on what will hurt your pockets. If I bent one of my Ce28's at the track id most likely cry, if I bent an RPF1, I probably would still be bummed buts not nearly as much. Not everyones baller and can afford to fuck up Volks,Works, CCWs etc.
