SCM has a bunch of NOS '10 SE cars on sale...

Looks like they squirreled a number of them away, and then just put them up for sale recently. Dude from NY just posted up on EvoM that he just scooped one up.

zomg if they only had some IX GSR SEs or even just regular GSRs...

Here's the link to the cars:

Lol i know for a fact that they have a couple BRAND NEW evo ix mr/gsr stashed away in a vault. Heck, they even had a gg ix mr with 6 miles on it in the showroom last time I was there. They'll probably cost you double msrp though.

    Haha, somehow i'm not surprised.

I believe that GG IX MR is still in the showroom. I've seen that thing everytime i've been there in the last few years, i heard the price was up to 60 or 70 or something like that. Didn't know they had other IXs though. :)

that one has been long gone. blame the nissan dealership next door that ratted them out to US Customs.

The Evo IX SE's have been behind the SCM lot for years, I thought abt buying one, but the amount of restoration you would have to do is insane. imagine, they have been sitting out in the elements for the last 6 years.

that being said, if you buy one and need to restore it, PM me

When I went there to buy my current Evo circa 2012, they tried to sell me one of the SE's. I didn't see the value in an older vehicle for the same price as new, plus it wasn't exactly what I wanted.

Don't expect any of those Evos to be cheap, that's for sure.

I didn't realize cars 5 years old that haven't been sold could still be worth that much. wow

technically they are still new cars, plus the dynamics of supply vs demand is still there.

Time to trade in for a octane blue X like I've always wanted! lol

But seriously, wouldn't these cars have 5 years worth of dry rotting? I mean some restoration work will need to be done I'm guessing? I wonder if these cars sat in a warehouse or under the sun for those 5 years.

Here's the original thread from EvoM. Supposedly they spent some time in a warehouse, but it also looks like they spent some time outside or at least on dirt judging by the dust in the engine bay and on the exterior. Pics inside. http://www.evolutionm.net/forums/evo...lution-se.html

at least 8 had been out in the sun for at least a good 3-4 years. when I picked up my MR back in 2012 they were already back there.
