    When to flip tires?

    Hi,

    When is the appropriate time to flip tires? WHen it hits the wear bar?

    If we're talking about OEM Advan tires the answer is never. They have a designated "inside" and "outside" so they cannot be flipped. I rotate mine about every 4k miles to keep the wear even.

    Negative. Dont wait till theyre at the wear bars. It depends on your alignment settings and how much driving you do. I usually flip em every 2 or 3 oil changes (6k~miles). My alignment settings are close to oem spec

    i think my front are around -2.0 and rear are around -1.5. But naw these are direcitonal, symetrical. So i Can flip them inside and out, remount and mount. Mine are close to wear bar inside, maybe another 4k miles, but outside have alot.
