Galant VR4 gets some media love!

    Peep this thing. http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/10/...er-of-the-evo/

This one just looks so good with the JDM bumpers and BBS LMs (real, too). You just don't see them this clean very often these days. I know the owner and i can tell you it is just as clean in person, no movie magic here. At work, we actually used this car to test the awesome FEAL 441 coilover kit! I drove it around just a bit after installation, and was really stoked on those dampers. They have some of the dampening characteristics of much pricier stuff.

Coincidentally, The Smoking Tire just released one of their popular One Takes, driving a rather well modded GVR4. Road and Track picked it up. It's all here: http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cult...r-the-streets/

What's the latest model Galant you can get in the US?

A lot of Evo guys in Australia were buying Galant / Legnums from Japan and modifying them with impressive results.

^ Haha, yeah, Mike? Known him several years, since was was stationed at Pendleton. His car has come a long way. He's a good guy. He's got an BNR32 now as well, which i bet you already know.

In the US we got the VR4s in 1991 and 1992, and in limited numbers (~2k in 91 and ~1k in 92). We got regular pedestrian Galants all the way through the 2012 model year.

There are some sick 6g GVR4 builds over in AUS for sure. My favorite: http://www.galantvr4.org/ubbthreads/...page=9&fpart=1

The 7G and 8G VR4s are cool too, and i would definitely prefer the Legnum variant.
