    If you're never going over 400whp with E85, ^walbro 255 is enough.

whats the price difference between a walbro 255 and a 450 e85 version. I see some as low at +$15 bucks, but RSD, is listing them at $300

Imho id get the a 450 e85box kit one(has the little hoses and clamps and fliter thingy) I'm guessing its better to over pump then under.

This is for an EVO X he says. AEM has a 320 lph (honest tested 320 lph) E-85 rated pump that drops right in. The Walbro pumps need a bunch of mods to make them fit and all end up with no or a tiny restrictive fuel filter. AEM had a small pump that was not meant for the EVO X a while ago. Some people were kluging them into the EVO X as well with some random results. This current AEM EVO X pump is a direct replacement.

In the end, since with your bigger injectors and E85 tune, your tuner has to deal with the random crap you drag in from the internets. Best is to ask your tuner what to run, and then the cool kids these days just buy the pump from their EVO X tuner since he knows best what works for him and you can even get in installed by him too! Fully half of the EVO X DIY fuel pump upgrades we see hit the dyno are whack. With the EVO 8/9 it was maybe one out of ten.

Ask the peanut gallery on the internet? Or ask the guy you will be trusting to tune your car? Get the guys to answer with the most freetime? Or a guy that sees 10 Xs a week for 8 years.

Right, it does not come with a little filter, there is no fuel filter in the pic or description of the MAP kit.

MAP FUEL PUMP INSTALL KIT WITH 255LPH PUMP (EVO X / RALLIART 09+)

    http://www.maperformance.com/product...ant=7525342147

CNC machined fuel pump housing designed to replace the factory fuel pump/filter assembly. It comes with your choice of 255lph fuel pump, and includes all hardware for a bolt-on installation.
This kit does remove the factory fuel filter. It is recommended to install an aftermarket fuel filter with this kit.

What do you have for a _fuel filter_ then with your little to no mod Walbro 255 install?

Going to assume none then. Just the pre filter sock. No fuel filter between the pump and the injectors. As the brushes wear and anything from the pump goes straight into the injectors.
