    6-12-16 Auto Club Roval

I made my first visit to the ACS roval over the weekend. Ran with speed ventures, and had a great time. Got some great footage trying to chase down an M4. Did a best lap of 2:08.343. Any critiques would be appreciated, trying to maximize lap times with my current setup, which is a bone stock X MR with Ferodo DS2500 front pads, oem rear pads and Potenza Re-11's.

Nice Man, looks great! I'm still a little too skittish around walls to brave the Roval! maybe someday.

Most of your time can be shaved off in the oval. The track is more banked higher up, so you would have more grip taking it mid-way down the track at a faster speed. Start the corner after the main straight high up on the banking, and then turn in and go halfway down the banking for the turn.

Everything else looks fairly good, just tidying up the driving a little bit.

My second time at ACS, this is my not-so-perfect lap, I also went too far down on the banking in the first turn, but the rest of my lap is fairly good (minus over shooting turn 9, turning in too early for turn 14, and then the huge puddle of water I went through).

Also, ACS is a track where being ballsy on the higher speed corners dramatically helps your lap times. The oval is one, and turn 8 is another one. Both these corners, you feel like you don't have the grip, but just push it a little bit past what you're comfortable with each lap, and you'll see you still have plenty of grip and track to use.
