You Can Bid on the Last Mitsubishi Lancer EVO US#1600 Starting Today

Mitsubishi will action off the last Lancer Evolution Final Edition, the US#1600 car. When can you start bidding?

Just like they did with the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition US#0001, the Japanese automaker will auction off the US#1600 car. The last car was purchased by a Brooklyn Mitsubishi dealer and is still up for sale at their NY showroom. The US#1600 car is the last Final Edition EVO ever and proceeds from the auction will go to Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
This is the last Final Edition
Only 1,600 examples were built for the U.S. market and this is the last one.
Each Final Edition model came with a specific numbered plaque on the center console. 2015 EVO Final Edition models were upgraded inside with a black headliner, pillars, sun visors and assist handles, and red accent stitching on the sport seats, steering wheel, shift knob, console lid, floormats and e-brake handle.

The EVO Final Edition US#1600 is based on the GSR 5-speed manual gearbox model. It gets extra upgrades that include a Final Edition badge in the rear, black painted aluminum roof, dark chrome painted Enkei alloy wheels, gloss black center bumper and hood air outlet and dark chrome front grille surround.

Under the hood, the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition #1600 is powered by the same 2.0-liter turbocharged engine as the standard models, but produces 303 horsepower and 305 lb ft of torque. The limited edition 1600 examples also came with lightweight two-piece Brembo brake rotors up front, accompanied by Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs at all four corners.
Last Mitsubishi Lancer EVO ever US#1600 auction starts today
The last auction brought $46,200 on Ebay for the US#0001 car. The Brooklyn, NY dealer is asking $88,888 for their first numbered performance model. The latest auction will take place on eBay beginning at 9am PT (today)Thursday, September 8 and concludes Thursday, September 15 at 9:00am PT. Mitsubishi says the auction was set up this month to correspond with national Hunger Action Month. Feeding America and member food banks are asking Americans to take action and fight hunger in your community. To bid on the #US1600 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition go here.
