Still have my evo since 2010. Current around 88k miles on the cluster. Been basically restoring it to make it look show room quality. Replacing moldings, got the entire car resprayed its OEM color.

Is it a legit paint job way better than factory?

I was thinking of repainting too just because but didn’t want to spend anywhere near that.

Yes it is. Check them out on Instagram or their website. They’ve done a lot of custom cars, and paint is guaranteed against defects as long as you own the vehicle.

Just did, especially now that IG is working. Looks like awesome work. Just way nicer and way more expensive than what I was looking for haha.

My nephew repainted his whole car for $6,500.... so $4,800 is a good deal.

2005 Evolution MR bought brand new from HB Mitsubishi in April of 2005 with 71 miles on the odometer. I just hit 104000 miles on it. I never post here, but I recognize many of the names on this thread.
My car only looks fast :P<br />

That's pretty low considering how old it is

I used to daily it back in the day...Drove it everywhere. Then it just became a garage queen.. I only take it out to meets or cruises with my friends.
socalevo was the website that pointed me to HB Mitsubishi! They had no mark ups on their MR in stock. They had 3, Silver, Red and Graphite Grey. Someone else was coming in later to pick up the Graphite color. That is the one I originally wanted. I bought the Silver one

That someone is me, and I still have it with me and another X-MR used to be Scot Gray car. I'm still loving the Evos very much. Can't find a new car to replace them (even those cost twice the price) so I had to buy a Passport for a reliable long distance drive to the hikes and other adventures.

Funny that you mentioned HB, I traded in my White 03 VIII for the MR but then changed my mind and got it back from the dealer so I have two evos most of the times. Eventually sold the 03 to a friend for a personal reason.

I later met the owner of the red MR at a discount tire in el monte. He bought the car cash. He was buying rims for his Evo. He was a wounded combat vet. He had a purple heart license plates on his Evo. They would have sold me the Graphite grey evo to me if I would have paid over sticker. I said no thank you and bought the silver one! LOL Did you also buy your car on April 17?

Well here I am at RRE, 21 years after my first visit here. My car is up on the rack with the ONLY shop I trust.
