I’ve had a love/hate relationship with my evo. I’ve thought about selling it, but when I can’t really come up with any car to replace it, I never go through with it. Lol
Still here. Still have, love and daily the Evos after 16 years. The Supra is tempting.
Still check this place out once every few months, I'm on evo #2 now after 12 years

Fast cars drag race, fast drivers road race.
That avatar still catches my eyes.
I was not fortunate enough to hit Evo #3, not that easy to find a great condition these days.
The Focus RS is not bad for a 2nd choice.

Hi. I’m a once a year lurker. Ps, I couldn’t remember my OG password, so I switched from Gear Grinder to geargrinder.
LOL, there is not password recovery option to your email or something?

To tell you the truth, I forgot my username was Gear Grinder. I thought it was geargrinder, so there’s that
ROFL!
At least you are still here.

Thanks. So how do you like the RS. I hated mine, especially when I blew the motor!! It cost me $6500 for a new motor. (Yes it was lightly modified)
I have the Type R now and love it!! If it was awd it would be the perfect car. Every time I drive it, I want to give it a hug.
@geargrinder, I have the 2018 LE NB, the HG issue is resolved on this one as well as the suspension is a bit more forgiving.
I love it. I am realistic to what I can get out of it and the shortcoming of the block. It's not as bullet proof as the Evo motors.
My goal is a modest 400HP, I should be fine.
The CTR is a great car, it has auto rev match which I like a lot.
But the the $$$ mark-up, can't do that.
The RS i know it's the one of the last one, I can still get a CTR later.

Nice to see that there are still some locals checking in. I’m finally getting my car upgraded again and have been picking up a lot of additional parts second hand on the forums. I’ll be going from the old school green to the ss fp red.
